A&I is founder-led — and growing. Sam and Evy are consulting partners who bring their own practice and methodology into the lab. The dogs run logistics, mostly.

Twenty years of marketing experience, a Masters in Organization Development, a decade in healthcare leadership, and a working AI stack across Claude, GPT, and a half-dozen specialty models. Founded A&I in April 2026 to teach the craft of working with AI as a real practice — not a productivity hack.
The friend you wish you had — if you wish your friend told you the truth about your work.
Has her own voice card — The Lisa Check™. The first one A&I built outside of Nate's. The dogs are in it. The receipts are too.
Sam runs the education-sector practice. Evy leads SEO and demand generation, currently on a healthcare-industry engagement. Vince advises on healthcare strategy, network adequacy, and competitive intelligence. Derrick advises on state government operations, fleet management, and contract bidding. Each brings their own client portfolio and methodology — A&I is the brand and the workbench, and their work runs on the same craft principles, scoped to their specialty.

Sam runs the education-sector practice at A&I. Twelve years across Ohio special education — Intervention Specialist, then Special Education Coordinator at Vantage Career Center — with rare credentials for the work: a 2021 Principal Licensure from Concordia University Chicago plus dual Master's-level certifications in K-12 Mild-to-Moderate, Orton-Gillingham, and Math/Science HQT. She is fluent in the language administrators actually use: IDEA compliance, Ohio Administrative Code 3301-51, Pre-ETS, ITP, multi-agency collaboration. As liaison for thirteen partner districts, she has done ESC-level work for years before holding the title.
Sam came to A&I as a ShortList client in spring 2026. She walked into a regional Transition Coordinator interview with the brief, the framework, and the language. The result: an $85K offer — $25K over market. She is now an A&I partner for clients in education, special programs, and career-pathway leadership transitions. The receipts are real.

Evy is the SEO and demand-generation lead at A&I. Ten-plus years across travel, insurance, and health verticals — including the run at eHealth where she catapulted the SEO channel to the #1 organic share-of-voice in the entire Medicare industry for non-government sites, with near 80% YoY revenue growth and a 60%+ conversion lift from page testing. At Elite Insurance Partners she drove 68% organic channel growth and a 30% sales increase. At PlushCare she scaled appointment volume 35% YoY. She built in-house SEO teams from two people to seven and won eHealth's Spirit of Agile award along the way.
Currently A&I's lead on a healthcare-industry SEO engagement, where she runs the Reddit-Driven Content Engine and the SEO attribution infrastructure. Trilingual — English, Mandarin, Indonesian. Tool stack: Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Hotjar. The smiley face in her LinkedIn title has been there for years and is canon.
"I don't just drive organic traffic — I deliver results that translate to actual profit."

Vince advises A&I on healthcare-sector strategy — network adequacy, provider directory accuracy, and payer competitive intelligence — drawn from 20 years at Aetna, a CVS Health company, capped by a run as Executive Director, Network and Provider Data Services. He's currently a Sales Solutions Executive at Quest Analytics, helping health plans solve the same problems he used to own from the inside.
Vince came to A&I as a client, sharpening interview strategy ahead of VP-level health-plan panels. He's since become the person Lisa turns to for healthcare-industry reality-checks, and is expected to take on formal consulting work as A&I's healthcare-sector pipeline grows.

Derrick brings two decades of multi-unit operations leadership across government fleet management, automotive service operations, and retail district management. He was recently promoted to Fleet & Inventory Supervisor (PA2) at the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, an elevated statewide role overseeing fleet operations, asset accuracy, and policy development — following a run as Motor Fleet Coordinator Supervisor at the same agency, District Manager at AAA Club Alliance (eight automotive repair facilities), and District Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts, where he oversaw thirteen retail/wholesale locations and 200+ team members and won multiple government contract bids for goods and services.
Derrick advises A&I on state government operations, fleet and vendor management, and government contract bidding — process knowledge that informs client engagements touching public-sector procurement, compliance, and large-scale operations strategy.
Yes, the operators are dogs. They run logistics, review drafts, and stand by the door. They are also the visual placeholder until the consulting bench is fully published — they earn their keep.
Mom. Senior leadership. Nine years on the job. Knows where the treats are kept and disapproves of late nights at the workbench.
Dad. Senior IC. Carries the institutional memory and a tennis ball at all times. Reviews every Lab draft before it ships.
Tall. Sweet. Goofy. Specializes in ambient supervision and pull-quote selection. Has a strong opinion about IBM Plex Mono.
Reckless. Runt. Brings energy. Career trajectory unclear, performance highly variable, but morale is excellent when he's in the room.
